Dr Bill Glasson has retired from delivering ophthalmology services out west after 3 decades of service to people in the bush.

Born in Winton, Bill has enjoyed retaining his rural connections by  visiting patients in Boulia, Bedourie, Birdsville, Windorah, Longreach,  Barcaldine, Winton and Blackall.

The rest of the team including Dr Todd Goodwin and Dr Sunil Warrier will continue to visit patients and offer eye surgery at Longreach Hospital.

Bill will continue to sit on the Board looking after indigenous health and practice at the Terrace Eye Centre in Brisbane.
