Dr Mark Donaldson gave a presentation at the Euretina Meeting in Paris on Hot Topics in Ophthalmology summarising the treatment of Central Retinal Vein Occlusion.

The LEAVO trial which compared the three most common medications used to treat macular oedema due to retinal vein occlusions was discussed. He shared the stage with Dr. Varun Chaudhary, a vitreo-retinal surgeon, Chief of Ophthalmology & Associate Professorof Surgery at Hamilton Eye Institute, McMaster University Canada.
