As part of the Terrace Eye Centre, we have the Queensland Ocular Oncology Service being provided by Dr Bill Glasson, Dr Sunil Warrier and

Dr Sid Finnigan.

This service has been in place for the past 20 years and receives patients from all over Queensland, Northern New South Wales and the Northern Territory. The service assesses all patients with surface tumours or intraocular tumours.

Dr Sunil Warrier who has joined our team in the last few years has provided increased capacity for us to handle referrals in a timely fashion. Dr Warrier trained in Liverpool and brings with him special expertise that has enhanced the ocular oncology service. Dr Sid Finnigan, who is based primarily at Redlands, forms part of our Friday clinic where the three of us jointly assess all new patients allowing a combined opinion on the best management of the particular patient concerned.

Dr Bill Glasson will be taking a sabbatical this year, being away for seven weeks through June to July. He aims to visit a number of the world renowned oncology centres looking at the latest treatments around ocular tumours.
