Over the weekend our three retinal specialists, Dr Albert Aralar, Dr Mark Donaldson and Dr Michael Hogden attended the annual Australian and New Zealand Society of Retinal Specialists meeting in Melbourne. On Saturday Dr Hogden shared a short surgical video case describing a vitrectomy technique for macula fold repair, while Dr Donaldson chaired several conference sessions and presented cases involving a challenging peripapillary retinal tear and a fascinating  retinal dystrophy case with unique Optos autofluorescence images.

Dr Rick Spaide from Vitreous-Retina-Macula Consultants in New York was the invited International speaker at the conference and shared his expert insights into new OCT angiography technology and 3D retinal vascular imaging.
