Dear Colleagues, Referrers and Patients,
I wanted to personally inform you of a change in my professional journey.
As many of you know I have been fortunate enough to practice at both the Terrace Eye Centre, and at the Pine Rivers Eye Centre in Strathpine with my father Dr Peter Cranstoun. This year, Dr Cranstoun senior
announced that he would be taking a well earned retirement in 2025. His retirement will leave a huge hole to fill at the Pine Rivers practice not to mention many patients who will require ongoing care and management of their ocular health.
For this reason I have decided to resign from my position at Terrace Eye Centre at the end of 2024 in order to consult full time at the Pine Rivers Eye Centre. This decision has not come lightly and as I’m sure you will understand there is a considerable amount of sadness that accompanies it. It is, however, my sincere hope that it will allow me to consolidate my efforts in continuing to provide the best care to my patients whilst honouring the legacy that my father has built.
I would like to reassure everyone that although I will no longer be consulting at Terrace Eye Centre, the ongoing care provided by my colleagues will be consistent with the standard you
have come to expect from Brisbane’s premier Ophthalmic practice. Alternatively, for those who would prefer to continue their care under my supervision, I will be available for consultations at Pine Rivers Eye Centre via the contact details below.
Finally, I truly appreciate the trust you have placed in me over the years – I am honored and
humbled. Thank you for your understanding and support at this time. I look forward to the next
adventure and to working with you in new capacities.
Sincerely,
MC.
