Prof. Timothy Sullivan attended the Annual Montgomery Lecture in Ireland last month and lead a case based panel discussion on eyelid, lacrimal and orbital problems at the ICO (Irish College of Ophthalmologists) Winter Meeting.
Prof. Sullivan is former President of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery and the Asia-Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and an active Fellow of the American and European Societies of Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
In his lecture, Prof Sullivan highlighted advances in the management of orbital diseases over the years through improvements in imaging, diagnostics and treatment resulting in better outcomes for patients. A Q&A session followed relating to the diagnosis and management of a range of complexities in this area.
