Brisbane ophthalmologists were extremely fortunate to host Dr Peter Kaiser and Dr Mark Donaldson acted as chairman for a wonderful meeting on the latest treatments for wet age related macular degeneration and retinal vein occlusions.Dr Kaiser is Professor of Ophthalmology at the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Medical School, followed by  residency at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and a vitreoretinal fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.

Dr Kaiser has authored seven textbooks, 25 book chapters and more than 300 peer-reviewed manuscripts. He is Editor-in-Chief of Retinal Physician, Associate Editor of International Ophthalmology Clinics and serves on the editorial boards of numerous journals.

This is his second visit to Brisbane in the past few years and our retina doctors at Terrace Eye Centre are grateful for the opportunity to keep up to date with treatment protocols at the Cleveland Clinic, consistently one of the top 5 hospitals in the USA.
