Late last month doctors from Terrace Eye Centre visited Longreach Hospital for the twice yearly eye service they help to provide.

This visit was by Dr Bill Glasson and Dr Sunil Warrier and the surgeons performed a record number of procedures during the visit. These trips are so important to the area and limit the burden of long distance travel for the residents of Central West Queensland. The collaborative effort between the staff members of the Longreach Hospital, the Central West Health Service and the visiting team members continues to ensure the delivery of this great service.
