Sing-Pey Chow was recently an Invited Speaker at the QLD Branch Annual Scientific Meeting of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO), hosted on the Gold Coast from 3-4 August. The topic was “Cornea and Cataract Surgery”.

She provided an overview on the topic “Allergic Eye Disease” and also presented in the “Challenging Cases” section. The international and national speakers at the conference included Dr Jod Mehta from Singapore National Eye Centre, Dr Albert Jun from Wilmer Eye Institute, John Hopkins University in the USA, Dr Elsie Chan and Dr Ben Connell from the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne, and Dr Miriam Keene from the Australian Corneal Graft Registry. It was an excellent meeting with opportunities for Queensland ophthalmologists to catch up with each other, and also to be updated with the latest developments in corneal and cataract surgery.
