At Terrace Eye Centre, we’re always looking for ways to make your visit as smooth and focused as possible. To help our doctors spend more time listening and less time typing during your consultation, some of our clinicians are now using a tool called i-scribe.

i-scribe assists our team by creating a written record of your consultation in real time. This allows your clinician to focus fully on you, while ensuring your notes are clear, complete, and accurate. After your appointment, your doctor reviews and verifies the notes before they become part of your medical record.

All information is handled securely and in accordance with Australian privacy standards. Only authorised clinic staff have access to these notes, and your personal information is never shared with anyone outside your care team.

Before using i-scribe in your appointment, we’ll ask for your consent. You’ll have the chance to read a short consent form and discuss any questions with your clinician. You can also withdraw your consent at any time—this will not affect your ongoing care in any way.
