Two big topics at the meeting held in Barcelona, Spain 19-22 September were the clinical trial results of Photobiomodulation (PBM)
“Malyugan Ring Insertion During Cataract Surgery with a Small Pupil”
In this short video, Dr Lindsay McGrath talks us through the insertion and removal of the Malyugan Ring, which can be used for cataract surgery where the pupils are small or unstable – like in floppy iris syndrome, pseudoexfoliation syndrome, chronic uveitis, glaucoma or in longstanding diabetes.
